You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes.

Quotations and Proposals

Quotations are based upon the information supplied by the client at the time of enquiry.

Any changes to project requirements may result in revised pricing, timelines, or deliverables.


Acceptance of Work

A legally binding agreement shall be deemed to exist when any of the following occur:

  • The client replies accepting a proposal by email.
  • The client replies using an acceptance phrase specified within a proposal email (including “OPTION 1” or equivalent wording).
  • The client pays a deposit.
  • The client instructs Farnborough Web Design to commence work.

By accepting a proposal through any of the above methods, the client confirms that they:

  • Accept the quoted price.
  • Accept the estimated project timeline.
  • Accept the project scope.
  • Agree to these Terms and Conditions.
  • Authorise Farnborough Web Design to commence work.

Deposits and Payments

Projects may require a deposit before work commences.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced.
  • Deposits cover project planning, administration, consultation, scheduling, and work undertaken.
  • Final balances must be paid before website launch, transfer, or delivery.
  • Ownership of project assets remains with Farnborough Web Design until payment has been received in full.

Failure to pay invoices may result in suspension of work.


Project Cancellation

The client may cancel a project by providing written notice.

Where cancellation occurs:

  • Deposits remain non-refundable once work has commenced.
  • Farnborough Web Design reserves the right to invoice for any work completed beyond the value of the deposit.
  • Any completed work, designs, code, graphics, content, concepts, or project assets remain the property of Farnborough Web Design until all outstanding invoices are paid.

If a project remains inactive due to lack of client communication for more than 30 days, Farnborough Web Design reserves the right to place the project on hold until communication resumes.


Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate information.
  • Supply required content, images, branding materials, and access credentials where necessary.
  • Ensure they have legal rights to all supplied content.
  • Review work and provide feedback within a reasonable timeframe.

The client remains solely responsible for the legality, ownership, and accuracy of any content supplied.


Revisions and Scope Changes

Any revisions included within a proposal shall be limited to the scope agreed.

Requests that materially alter the original project scope may be treated as additional work and charged separately.

Additional costs will always be communicated before work proceeds.


Website Approval

The client is responsible for reviewing all content, design, functionality, forms, links, and information before launch.

Once approval has been given and the website is launched, the project shall be deemed accepted.

Any changes requested after approval may incur additional charges.


Hosting, Domains and Third-Party Services

Where domains, hosting, plugins, payment gateways, integrations, or third-party services are used, Farnborough Web Design cannot guarantee their future availability, pricing, performance, or uptime.

The client remains responsible for ongoing third-party subscription fees unless otherwise agreed.


Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

While Farnborough Web Design may implement recognised SEO best practices, no guarantee is given regarding:

  • Search engine rankings.
  • Keyword positions.
  • Website traffic.
  • Lead generation.
  • Revenue or sales.

Search engine algorithms are controlled by third parties and may change without notice.


Google Ads and Marketing Services

Advertising performance depends on factors outside Farnborough Web Design’s control.

No guarantees are provided regarding:

  • Lead volume.
  • Cost per lead.
  • Revenue generated.
  • Return on investment.
  • Campaign performance.

Intellectual Property

All concepts, designs, graphics, code, content, and deliverables remain the property of Farnborough Web Design until payment has been received in full.

Upon receipt of full payment, ownership of the agreed deliverables shall transfer to the client unless otherwise stated.

Farnborough Web Design reserves the right to display completed projects within its portfolio, marketing materials, social media channels, and case studies.


Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Farnborough Web Design shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of revenue.
  • Loss of profits.
  • Loss of business opportunity.
  • Loss of data.
  • Indirect or consequential losses.

Total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the services giving rise to the claim.
